Excellent program!Posted on Jenny Guzman-FilipovTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My kids have been at SRAM for 3 months and are thriving there. I appreciate the teacher notes that include a recap and HW assignment which gets emailed after every lesson. I also appreciate having the option to sit in on the lessons (which we couldn’t at our previous music school). The portal is user friendly and convenient for scheduling. Tenisha (admin) and James (owner) are amazing and so helpful and supportive. And my kids and I absolutely love their piano teacher Andria. She is an amazing educator and her passion and knowledge of piano shows. SRAM has a huge emphasis on community which I love and offer a variety of community performance opportunities as well as recitals throughout the year.Posted on Chandrika SistaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The staff is very friendly and accommodative of our needs in case we need to reschedule lessons.Posted on Berly PazTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We did their first and second group classes and then one on one lessons. Ms Emily is engaging and makes lessons fun for my 7 year old.
Most kids quit music because the process feels hard, lonely, or overwhelming.
That’s why at San Ramon Academy of Music, we do things differently.
Learning should feel good to stick with. We use play-based learning to help students enjoy lessons, stay engaged, and build progress without pressure or burnout.
The right guide makes all the difference. Our instructors teach with care and intention, acting as mentors who support students through challenges, not just instructors who give assignments.
Through strong teacher-student relationships, students develop confidence, focus, teamwork, and resilience alongside their musical skills. This growth carries into everyday life.
This is a place where families feel at home. Students, parents, and teachers come together through lessons and performances to form a supportive community built on encouragement and growth.
Enjoy guided growth, tailored to each student. We support students with structured goal-setting, personalized guidance, and nationally recognized programs like ABRSM, CM, and RCM, so progress is clear, supported, and intentional.
Progress is better when you share it. Our group classes bring students together to grow in a supportive environment, where collaboration and positive peer influence strengthen both skills and confidence.
Gain experience that builds poise and pride. Through seasonal recitals and community performances, students gain real stage experience, which helps them feel comfortable, confident, and prepare
